San Fran Living

So since I have a delayed flight, I might as well make use of my time and blog about my trip. My family and I decided to take a little trip to San Francisco for about a week or so. It was so amazing. So many different cultures, people, sights, and smells. I compared it to a more eclectic version of New York City. The first couple days we decided to go on a couple guided tours, just to get familiar with the surroundings, and know where to go and where not to go. I would highly suggest if you have the option of taking a tour around a huge city, I would go for it. It helps you out in the long run. Of course, we went to the Golden Gate Bridge, which was so magnificent! We also went Muir Woods and Sausalito, in my opinion I loved that more than in the city. Sausalito is a small city in Murin County (the wealthiest county in the nation) it's so quaint with little boutiques, mom&pop stores, and guess what? No chain restaurants! It was so nice to not see a McDonald's or Subway lining the street corners. It was a lovely change of pace compared to the city. I would also recommend you take a trip to Union Square. The shopping there is FABULOUS! I definitely can say I did some serious damage down there. They have everything from Bloomies, Macy's, Forever21, H&M, Zara and so much more! It's a shopaholic's dream! There are so many things to do in San Francisco and in the surrounding cities. I encourage you to go and check it out in the future! Here are a couple pictures from the trip! Enjoy!

Summer Favorites

I feel as if summer has flew by, so I've decided to talk a little bit about some of my favorite products and items that I have fallen in love with during the dog days.

Makeup Products
Clean and Clear Finishes Mattifying Moisturizer- I love this product so much! I unfortunately have very oily skin and the heat does not help with that issue at all! I happened to stumble across this product and decided to try it, it also has SPF 15 which I love for summer. The only downfall about this product is you have to rub it in very well or else you end up with a light white washed out color on your face. However, it may differ on your skin tone.

Mac Eyeshadow in Retro-Speck- This is such a great color to wear on any skin tone. Whether you wear it as an all over lid color or just a highlight it's so lovely! It is more of a shimmery blonde color that is so fresh and summery. It's a great color that I encourage you to go out and try!

Accessories
Vera Bradley Travel Cosmetic in Call Me Coral- Not only is the print bright and fun, this travel case can fit so much! It has eight small dividers all around the inside of the case. It is also lined so if you do have an accident with makeup spilling it won't ruin the bag. Another great feature is this case has another compartment on the top that holds numerous items. I mostly put my lipsticks, eyeliners, and mascaras in it. It has a place for everything and everything has it's place.

Longchamp- This has been my go to bag for the summer. I love it so much, because it's simple and goes with whatever I'm wearing. It's such a classic style that I know it was such a great investment. It also fits alot of stuff. I carry my Southern Living magazine, water bottle, makeup bag, wallet and camera and I still have room to spare!

Clothing
Brown Leather Sperry's- I feel like I've worn these shoes everyday since I've gotten them. They're so super comfy and a staple in a summer wardrobe. Whenever I go golfing with my grandpa we always seem to wear them and be twins for the day!

Panama Jack Hat- This is my go to summer hat, whenever I go! Whether I'm going out to lunch or just running around doing errands I always wear this hat. It really polishes off a look, in my opinion. I got mine at a local store here and had it custom fit to my head. I definitely recommend doing this.

Well these are a few of my summer staples this year. Comment below and tell me what your summer favs are!

Hairbows!

Okay so I have been going crazy once again for all of my hairbows. During the school year I would always wear them whether it was to a game to show school spirit or just to class. However, I took a small break from them at the beginning of summer and now I am back to wearing them stronger than ever now! In my eyes they can really polish off an outfit. It can also dress up a casual outfit. I usually make my own bows, but I found these super cute neon colored bows on etsy. They are too cute and have a bunch of different styles, colors and sizes. I encourage you to go and check them out!
